After moving on from CRO-life, I spent many years working on vaccines and therapeutics for infectious disease with NIH and PATH (a global health nonprofit). Just before we knew we'd need the world's most famous new group of vaccines, I moved on to work at BioMarin on therapeutics for rare genetic diseases.
