We will discuss different models of peer review, issues to consider when you are invited to peer review a manuscript, conflicts of interest in the peer review process, and what is expected of peer reviewers. We will also discuss some problems/issues with the peer review process and conclude with some tips for effectively performing peer review of a manuscript.
Tips for getting publishedMany factors must be considered to ensure that your manuscript will be published, ideally in the journal of your choice. Among these factors are selection of an appropriate journal, correctly formatting your manuscript prior to submission, navigating online submission portals, and courteously and completely addressing comments from peer-reviewers and editors. This webinar will provide tips on these and other factors to enhance success in publishing your research results.
