Every three years, ACT Council undergoes extensive strategic planning in order to ensure the ongoing relevancy and delivery of the ACT Mission to Educate, Lead, and Serve. Council’s discussions were informed by feedback solicited via surveys administered to select ACT members representing various sectors of the College. Three overarching Goals—Delivering Educational Excellence, Advancing Professional Development, and Advancing ACT’s Impact were identified, and associated Objectives and Strategies were developed. In particular, Council will be accountable for initiatives to advance the impact of the College, with an emphasis on how we can create a more diverse and inclusive organization.
There are plenty of exciting initiatives to develop and work on, and member engagement at all levels (Committee, Subcommittee, and Working Group) is critical to our successes. Come listen, ask questions, and see how you would like to get involved!
