Please forward this information on the ACT Travel Awards and Graduate Fellowships for graduate students, early career professionals, toxicologists, and postdoctoral fellows.

The American College of Toxicology is pleased to share an opportunity for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows to attend our Annual Meeting, November 15–18, 2020 in Austin, Texas. The meeting brings together over 1,000 toxicologists from around the globe to exchange the latest developments in applied toxicology and research in the field of toxicology. Apply for an ACT travel grant or graduate fellowship between March 1 and May 1, 2020. Applications will be accepted on the ACT website at www.actox.org.

The American College of Toxicology offers free Student membership to those engaged in studies leading to a degree in the field of toxicology or a field related to toxicology. As a student member, you can take advantage of the Mentorship program, receive electronic access to International Journal of Toxicology, the official journal of the College, and qualify for discounted rates to numerous educational resources offered. Free resources (such as webinars, podcasts, and more!) are also available.

Please encourage students and postdoctoral fellows to apply today for one of the travel grants for an opportunity to attend the American College of Toxicology Annual Meeting and present a poster. Airfare to and from the meeting, meeting registration, meals per diem, one free Continuing Education course, and up to four nights of hotel accommodations will be covered for award recipients.

Please also encourage your graduate students to apply for the North American Graduate Fellowship which awards $5000 per year (for up to two years) for qualified individuals to support their research. The deadline for applications is May 1, 2020.
