The 2017 ACT Abstract Submission System is now open! All abstracts must be submitted online using the ACT Abstract Submission System prior to the deadline of July 1, 2017 (11:59 pm, Eastern Time). Access to the Abstract System can be achieved by using the link provided or through the ACT Annual Meeting website.
First-time users will be required to create an account. Once an account confirmation email is received log into the system and follow the instructions and on-screen prompts to complete your abstract submission. Select “Poster” as your form of presentation. You will receive an email confirmation when you have successfully submitted your abstract. Users may re-enter the system until the deadline to make updates to the abstract or contact information. All accepted poster presenters are required to register for the Annual Meeting.
This year ACT will host a poster session with wine and cheese at the Annual Meeting, Monday, November 6, from 5:30 pm–7:00 pm. Presenting authors are required to attend the poster session because this is when people will meet with you to discuss your research. The Exhibit Hall will also be open during this time. Authors who are not present during the poster session will not be printed in International Journal of Toxicology. Notifications will be sent to the submitting author via email during the week of August 1, 2017.
Graduate students submitting abstracts can apply for a limited number of ACT Student Travel Awards in the amount of $1,000. Recipients must present a poster at the Annual Meeting. Abstracts must be submitted online using the ACT Abstract Submission System. Select the checkbox indicating “Would you like to be considered for the ACT Student Travel Award?” All interested applications must confirm their date of graduation on the submission form. Students who require a visa should indicate such during the submission process.
The abstract submission deadline is July 1, 2017. Mark Your Calendar for 2018: Please note that the abstract submission system for the 39th Annual Meeting will open on April 1, 2018 and will close on June 1, 2018.
