Graduate students submitting abstracts can apply for the ACT Student Travel Award. A limited number of winners will receive a cash stipend in the amount of $1,000. Graduate students applying for a travel award will also be considered for the Furst Award. This Furst Award, established through a generous contribution from the late Dr. Arthur Furst, is given to the author of the Best Student Paper at the Annual Meeting. It consists of a $2000 travel award and plaque. Graduate students applying for the Furst Award must present their poster to the Awards Committee on Sunday evening, 4:00 pm–4:30 pm, November 9, 2014.
