The 2023 ACT Abstract Submission System is now open! All abstracts must be submitted using the online system by Thursday, June 1, 2023 (11:59 pm, Eastern Time).
First-time users will be required to create a new account. Once an account is created, follow the on-screen prompts to complete your abstract submission through the online system. Please read the poster guidelines before finalizing your submission.
Abstract acceptance notifications will be sent to the submitting author via email during the week of July 17, 2023. All accepted poster presenters are required to register for the Annual Meeting by August 1, 2023. Registration opens in March.
ACT will host a Poster Session at the Annual Meeting on Monday, November 13, from 5:00 pm–6:30 pm. Your poster must be printed and displayed in the Exhibit Hall during the Annual Meeting. Attendance at the Poster Session on November 13 is required. If the presenting author fails to display their printed poster, the abstract will not be published in International Journal of Toxicology.
There will be an additional option for you to provide a digital version of your poster in an online ePoster gallery. While poster presenters are highly encouraged to use the ePoster option, the ePoster is not required. Uploading your poster is strongly recommended and greatly extends the reach of your scientific findings. In-person meeting attendance and presentation at the Poster Session is still required for those who choose to provide an ePoster.
ACT does not accept encore poster abstracts. If the abstract was presented at another scientific meeting, submitted for publication in another journal (including pending acceptance), has more than 30% overlap of another published work, or was previously submitted at a past ACT Annual Meeting, the abstract is considered an encore and will not appear in International Journal of Toxicology or be accepted for presentation.
