The American College of Toxicology’s (ACT) Advanced Comprehensive Toxicology Course has entered its second decade! The course, originally designed as an advanced offering to complement ACT’s Toxicology for Pharmaceutical and Regulatory Scientists course, is appropriate for individuals who want to broaden their knowledge of toxicology, and has been described as extremely useful in preparing candidates who plan to pursue professional toxicology certification.
This course is held in person with an intimate class size (50–60 people/year) to facilitate dynamic interaction with expert speakers and fellow participants. Participants have direct access to speakers to gain clarity on specialized subjects. The in-person format also enables network and relationship building that are key to a successful career in toxicology. Participants will have access to extensive online materials, including speaker slides and a practice certification-style exam.
